ANA FOUNDATION, whose president is Mrs. Cristiana Copos, carries out most of the projects for those in need.
More than 700 projects have been completed so far, the foundation`s financial effort being also possible through ANA HOLDING`s logistic and managerial support.
ANA FOUNDATION, supported by the ANA HOLDING companies, prides itself with the achievement of a series of important projects. Thus, a significant number of hospitals have been endowed with modern medical equipment. The patients of those hospitals are enjoying a more pleasant life due to the ANA FOUNDATION donations.
Many of such donations went to children orphanages and nursing homes.
The foundation has various projects.
For example, in 2000 the foundation involved itself in the construction of a facility designed to guide blind persons, at “Piata Unirii” underground station, the largest of its kind in Bucharest.
At the Sports School nr. 190, which gave Romania many outstanding sportspeople, the sports hall has been enlarged by the addition of a new and modern platform coming up to top international standards, while one of the Bucharest-based hospitals has been endowed with a new and highly modern conference room.
On the Christmas Day that rang out the last millennium, over 460 girls and boys sheltered by several foster homes in Bucharest met Santa Claus at a most entertaining performance given by the artists of the Bucharest Circus. For several years as well, on the Christmas Eve, ANA FOUNDATION offers presents and a Christmas performance to the children from several child care facilities in the Capital.
ANA FOUNDATION reacted promptly to the tragedies caused by floods. Mrs. Cristiana Copos went to several villages damaged by the waters and personally donated money to people whose homes were destroyed by floods. Mr. Gheorghe Copos went also in the summer of 2008 to villages in Moldova, where he donated construction materials and appliances to the people hit by waters.
A very important fact is that, in many such cases, other potent donors followed the example of ANA FOUNDATION.
Every year ANA FOUNDATION grants a medical student, either in the last university year or recently graduated, the “Grigore Coculescu” scholarship for a specialization at a well-known endocrinology clinic in Great Britain.

Mission to Vrancea
During January and February 2012 heavy snows have affected Romania. Huge quantities of snow have fallen in several counties. The most affected county was Vrancea. A lot of persons have suffered due to the fact that their villages have remained isolate and could not be supplied with food or drugs.
ANA Foundation has organized two aid missions in the benefit of the people in difficult situations in the county of Vrancea.
On 15th of February 2012 the representatives of ANA Foundation, embarked on a truck full of 17 tones of food products, have reached some of the most isolated and affected villages in Vrancea: Gologanu, Tătăranu and Ciorăşti. They have provided to the inhabitants, for free: oil, sugar, flour, corn, pastas, and meat products.
On 10th of March 2012 ANA Foundation has organized a drugs transport. Important quantities of multi - vitamins, minerals, anti - influenza products, Ginkgo Biloba, products improving the body’s immune system and anti – inflammatory products were delivered to the Mayors and doctors of Năruja, Andreaşu de Jos and Nereju. According to the concrete situations, the doctors have decided the beneficiaries of the medical products.
ANA Foundation proudly thanks to its close partners, who, generously, elegant and discrete, have helped the Foundation to lead to a good end this humanitarian mission.
